Daisy Bassen MD DFAACAP has a comprehensive work experience in psychiatry, specifically focusing on child and adolescent psychiatry. Daisy started their career as a Consulting Child Psychiatrist at Harmony Hill School in 2010 and later joined Butler Hospital as a Staff Psychiatrist in 2009. In 2012, Dr. Bassen worked as a Child Psychiatrist at Child & Family Psychiatry. Daisy then joined Cranston Public Schools as a Consulting Child Psychiatrist in 2013, where they provided psychiatric consultations. From 2014 to 2019, Dr. Bassen had their private practice as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Daisy Bassen MD PC. During this time, they also served as a Consulting Child Psychiatrist at the Groden Center from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, Dr. Bassen worked as a Consulting Psychiatrist at Plaza Psychology & Psychiatry and NAFI CT Inc. Daisy provided psychiatric consultations at these organizations until 2021. Currently, Dr. Bassen holds the positions of Medical Director and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Thrive Behavioral Health, starting in 2021. Additionally, they are serving as a Clinical Instructor of Medical Science at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University since 2022.

Daisy Bassen MD DFAACAP completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at Princeton University from 1994 to 1998. Daisy then pursued their medical education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they participated in a program called TASP in 1993.
