Zeynep Iraz Ulgen, LMHC, CASAC-T, has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving as a Licensed Mental Health Clinician at Thrive Behavioral Health since September 2021. Prior to this role, Zeynep held positions at Carnegie Hill Institute as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and as a Mental Health Counselor-LP / Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Trainee from September 2019 to August 2021, and gained valuable experience as a Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselor-Intern at the same institution from September 2018 to June 2019. Previous experience includes a role as a Mental Health Counselor/Practicum at Children of Promise, NYC, in early 2018 and an internship in Clinical Psychology at Bakırköy Ruh ve Sinir Hastalıkları Hastanesi in mid-2008. Zeynep completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Touro University in June 2019 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Halic Universitesi, obtained in 2010.
