Katie Xu

Katie Xu currently holds the position of Portfolio Impact at Thrive Capital, beginning in November 2023. Previously, Katie served as a Strategy & Operations Extern at Mori after completing an externship with Bain & Company. During time at Bain & Company from October 2021 to October 2023, Katie gained experience as an Associate Consultant, focusing on sectors such as Private Equity, M&A, Consumer Goods, and Marketing. Additional roles include a Product Design Intern at Zapier and Director of Deal Management at the University of Michigan Zell Early-Stage Fund. Katie also contributed as VP Recruitment and Education for Nexecon Consulting Group and undertook an internship as an Associate Consultant Intern at Bain & Company. Katie Xu earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Information with a User Experience Track from the University of Michigan - School of Information.
