Jonathan Crawley

Jonathan Crawley has extensive work experience in the field of design and copywriting. Jonathan is currently working at Thrive as the Head of UX, a role they started in November 2023. Prior to this, they held the positions of Lead Product Designer and Senior Product Designer at Thrive from April 2022 to November 2023 and July 2021 to April 2022, respectively.

Before joining Thrive, Jonathan worked at Micro Focus as a Senior UX Designer from April 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they led the design efforts for the OES and Content Manager projects, receiving praise from stakeholders for their design solutions. Jonathan also contributed to the improvement of usability and aesthetic appeal for the MITRE project. Jonathan'swork was highly regarded, and the product leadership team expressed their desire for him to return for future releases.

Jonathan's earlier experience includes working as a Principal Consultant and UX/UI Designer at IQbusiness South Africa from May 2018 to December 2019. Prior to that, they served as a UI Designer at MultiChoice from February 2016 to April 2018. Jonathan began their career as a Copywriter at M&C Saatchi Abel in January 2015, where they demonstrated strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams in content development.

Jonathan Crawley completed their education history by earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Information Design at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. Jonathan attended the university from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained the "User Experience Design Fundamentals" certification from Udemy in February 2018 and the "BA Information Design Degree" certification from the University of Pretoria in February 2011.
