Hetu Patel

Hetu Patel has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Hetu is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Thrive Market since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the CFO at Imperfect Foods from April 2022 to December 2022, where they led capital raise efforts and closed a merger/acquisition deal.

Before joining Thrive Market and Imperfect Foods, Hetu worked at Amazon for several years. Hetu held various roles at Amazon, including Director of Private Brands, Finance Director for Amazon Advertising, Finance Director for Amazon Prime, Finance Manager for US Sports/Outdoors/Toys, and Senior Financial Analyst for WW Operations Finance. In these roles, they were responsible for financial planning, controls, and overall monetization strategies. Hetu also led teams, implemented financial programs, and made impactful financial recommendations.

Hetu also gained valuable experience during their MBA Summer Experience at various companies, including British Telecom, where they led a cost-saving project.

Earlier in their career, Hetu worked at Mettler Toledo in various roles, including Team Lead for Master Data Management, Global Logistics Specialist, and Engineering Associate.

Throughout their career, Hetu has demonstrated strong financial expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.

Hetu Patel attended Loyola School Jamshedpur from 1987 to 2000, where they did not earn a specific degree or field of study. Hetu then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2000 to 2004. Finally, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2008 to 2010.
