Raj Katta

Raj Katta has a strong background in data architecture and engineering. Raj is currently working as a Senior Data Architect at Thrive Market since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Architect at Sema4 from March 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they were a Lead Data Engineer at ClickUp from November 2020 to March 2021. Raj also has experience at FreeWheel, where they held various roles including Data Science Consultant and Data Developer from July 2018 to June 2020, and Big Data Developer from September 2017 to July 2018.

In addition to their work in the industry, Raj also has experience in research and academia. Raj worked as a Tutor and conducted an independent research project at Bradley University from August 2016 to May 2017. Raj also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Caterpillar Inc. from October 2015 to January 2017, and as a Research Assistant at Bradley University from August 2015 to May 2016, where they led a robotics project focused on teaching social skills to children with autism. Overall, Raj's work experience spans both industry and academia, with a strong focus on data architecture and engineering.

Raj Katta is currently pursuing an Executive PhD in Blockchain and Databases at the University of the Cumberlands, starting in 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Bradley University. Raj Katta has also completed several additional certifications, including Simplifying data pipelines with Apache Kafka from Big Data University in July 2017, AWS Associate developer certified from AWS Elemental in June 2017, Hadoop from Big Data University in November 2016, and Spark Fundamentals II and Spark Fundamentals I from Big Data University in November 2016 and October 2016 respectively.
