Neil Macdonald

Neil Macdonald began their work experience as a Consultant at WYG Group in 2001 and stayed until 2005. Neil then co-founded and served as a Director at Pentland Macdonald Ltd from 2005 to 2012. In 2014, they worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Catalyst Inc HQ. In 2015, they became the CEO of Thrive, a social impact platform, where they focused on helping organizations demonstrate their corporate responsibility activities. In 2017, they co-founded StormHarvester and served as a Non-Executive Director, using smart technology to improve traditional drainage infrastructure.

Neil Macdonald attended the University of St Andrews from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Biology. Neil then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Management at Ulster University from 2001 to 2002.
