Anna Treacy, Ph.D., MPH, MCHES, is a seasoned health education professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on health and wellness. Currently serving as a Group Facilitator and Nationally Certified Master Health Education Specialist at Thrive Wellness Reno since November 2020, Anna is also the Director and Founder of the Center for Health Education in Safety and Sexuality, which is currently in the development stage. Previous roles include Investigator at the State of Nevada’s Division of Child and Family Services, Adjunct Professor at Truckee Meadows Community College, and various positions at the University of Nevada, Reno. Anna founded the Body Reclamation Project, LLC, where client transition to outpatient care was a primary focus, and held positions at Center for Hope of the Sierras and Saint Mary’s Health Network. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis on Special Education and Disability Studies, and a Master of Public Health.
