Dashon H. has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Behavioral Health Technician at Community Bridges. In 2017, they founded Ghetto Geek LLC, where they served as the CEO/Founder. In this role, they were responsible for developing goals and strategies, collaborating with vendors, ensuring alignment with business goals, and increasing company revenue. Dashon also worked as a Freelance Web Developer, specializing in full-stack web development and leveraging affordable technology solutions for startups and small businesses. Currently, Dashon H. is working as the Lead Instructor for Introduction to Software Engineering course at ThriveDX (formerly HackerU), a premier EdTech provider that offers digital transformation training.

Dashon H. completed a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from Galvanize Inc in 2017. They then pursued an Associate's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Estrella Mountain Community College from 2015 to 2019. Currently, Dashon is enrolled in Open Source Society University, working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering, which is expected to be completed in 2022. Additionally, Dashon obtained a Certificate of Completion in Full Stack Web Development Immersive from Galvanize Inc in February 2017.
