Jay Adams has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Jay served as the CFO at Thrive, a rapidly growing technology solutions provider that merged two companies and acquired 17 more through private equity and bank debt financing. Prior to that, they were the CFO at Aberdeen Group, where they led post-acquisition activities and built the finance and HR team for a newly formed firm. Jay also worked as the CFO at Atlantic Data Services, where they devised pricing and revenue strategies and cut excessive expenses. Before that, they were the CFO at Permabit, where they established disciplined financial reporting processes. Jay also held the positions of CFO/VP-Finance at Bowstreet and CFO/Assistant Controller at Kenan Systems/Lucent Technologies. Jay began their career as a senior accountant at Alfred W. Siegrist, CPA and a staff auditor at Ernst & Whinney.
Jay Adams attended Boston College from 1983 to 1987 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Jay is also a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, although they are currently non-practicing.
