Lewis Prior

Lewis Prior is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer at Thrivent, overseeing the strategic decommissioning of Elastic clusters and achieving significant cost savings while enhancing operational efficiency. Previously, Lewis held various roles, including DevOps Engineer and Associate DevOps Engineer, contributing to platform migrations to AWS and Kubernetes. Lewis's earlier experience includes internships in cloud automation and IT support, as well as a strong background in athletics as both a coach and strength and conditioning instructor, guiding numerous athletes to achieve records and high national rankings. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
