Seth Shaffer

Seth Shaffer has extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Seth currently works at Granbury Solutions as a Lead Software Architect, where they have defined standards for engineering teams, led infrastructure improvements, and developed micro-services for common processes. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MapQuest, leading the re-architecture of legacy applications and spearheading the rewrite of a Java-based geocoder. Seth also worked at American Water as a Senior Programmer Analyst, upgrading the JBoss environment and streamlining deployment processes. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Mzinga, Concurrent Technologies Corporation, e&e consulting, General Dynamics, and Heritage House Museum, gaining experience in UI/UX modernization, J2EE development, and web report generation.

Seth Shaffer received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, graduating between the years 1998 and 2002.
