Jose Calle Gordo

Jose Calle Gordo is a global medical device executive with over 30 years of business experience. Jose has had general management and functional responsibility in a broad spectrum of roles, including General/Executive Management, CEO and Board responsibilities as well as leadership roles in Research & Development, Clinical Research, Market Development and Sales & Marketing. Most recently, he served as CEO and director of BIOSENSORS International, where he build a multinational management team and lead the transformation and expansion of Biosensors from a start up to a recognized multi-national in Vascular Intervention. Prior to joining BIOSENSORS, he held several leadership roles at ABBOTT (Structural Heart & Vascular) and GUIDANT (Cardiac Rhythm Management, Vascular Intervention, Endovascular Solutions and Cardiac Surgery). Jose started his career at Eli Lilly where he had a number of commercial roles with growing responsibility in the field of cardiac devices. Jose Calle Gordo holds an electrical engineering degree (MSc) from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain.
