Brooke Sorenson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brooke started their career as a Retail Sales Associate at The Michaels Companies, Inc. in 2017 and then worked as a Retail Cashier at Staples Stores in 2018. In 2019, they served as a Front Desk Receptionist at Dr. R. Scott Smith D.D.S. and as the Vice President of Alumnae Relations for Sigma Kappa Sorority.

From 2018 to 2021, Brooke worked at Oregon State University, University Housing and Dining Services. Brooke began as a Student Caterer and later transitioned to central dining staff due to the effects of Covid-19, where they gained skills in multiple stations and trained new student employees.

In 2021, Brooke joined Lattice as a Recruiting Coordinator, coordinating interviews and providing administrative support to recruiters. Brooke then moved on to the role of People Operations Coordinator, overseeing HR email communications and managing termination paperwork and HRIS updates. Before leaving Lattice, they were promoted to Benefits Coordinator, where they implemented new contracts and maintained confidentiality with sensitive information.

Currently, Brooke is working at Thuma as an HQ Manager / HR Assistant since April 2023.

Brooke Sorenson attended Oregon State University from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology.
