Bill Gerke

Bill Gerke is an experienced human resources leader with a proven track record in HR operations, talent acquisition, and organizational development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Human Resources Operations and Compensation at Thumbtack, Bill oversees HR processing, support, and compensation strategy. Previously, Bill held significant roles at Wayfair, including Director of Talent Operations and Director of Talent Acquisition Operations, where responsibilities encompassed talent technology, recruitment operations, and various systems implementation. Bill's earlier career at Aon involved leading global talent acquisition initiatives, managing HR business partnerships, and driving performance management processes. Bill began their career at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and Thomson Financial and holds advanced degrees in English Language and Literature from Fordham University and St. Cloud State University.
