Jessie Chen is a seasoned data science leader with extensive experience in growth strategies and analytics. Currently serving as Director of Growth Data Science at Thumbtack since August 2021, Jessie heads a team focused on product and marketing data sciences, emphasizing insights and operational excellence. Previously, as Senior Data Science Manager at eBay from September 2020 to August 2021, Jessie led a product insights team specializing in structured data to enhance eBay listings for improved search and marketing. Prior roles at Walmart Labs as Principal Product Analytics Manager and various positions at eBay highlight expertise in analytics for buyer experience and shipping programs. Jessie’s career began with a strong foundation in finance and statistics, earning a Bachelor's Degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics between 2004 and 2008.
