Katelynn Sandy

Katelynn Sandy currently serves as the Head of Cybersecurity at Thumbtack since May 2025. Previously, Katelynn held multiple positions at Root Inc., including Chief Information Security Officer and Head of IT, and Director of Information Security. Katelynn's experience also includes serving as SVP, IT Risk Director at Huntington National Bank and Associate Director of Risk and Compliance at The Ohio State University. Earlier career roles include Information Security Manager at UK HealthCare and Senior Consultant in Technology Risk at Deloitte. Katelynn began professional training in the field as an intern at both Deloitte and Accenture, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University in 2007.
