Kevan Kalyan has extensive experience in the advertising industry, with a focus on creative direction. Kevan started their career at Turning Heads Advertising as a Designer, where they gained valuable experience and developed a passion for impactful advertising.

Kevan then worked as a Senior Designer at Black Pencil, Leo Burnett, before joining Face to Face Advertising as an Art Director. During their time at Face to Face Advertising, Kevan worked with clients such as Emirates Airlines, Vaseline, Burj Al Arab, and Air Arabia. Kevan is particularly proud of creating Global Art Directors guidelines for Emirates Airlines.

Kevan later joined Colour as an Art Director, where they spearheaded campaigns for Nova Scotia Tourism, Medavie Blue Cross, Parks Canada, United Way Halifax Chapter, Bell Aliant, and Atlantic Lottery Corp. As part of the senior team, they led the revamp of Parks Canada's Visual Standards and retail work for Atlantic Lotto.

Continuing their career progression, Kevan worked as a Senior Art Director at Revolve, where they played a key role in launching Patagonia Halifax's retail store and creating successful national television campaigns for ACE Hardware and The Hearing Foundation of Canada.

Kevan then took on the position of Creative Director at Famous Folks, overseeing the agency's creative output. In this role, they focused more on digital and social media-based creative and mentored a team of young creatives who went on to win major advertising awards.

Kevan furthered their career as a Creative Group Head at Target NL, where they handled and oversaw work for Newfoundland & Labrador Tourism, College of the North Atlantic, and WWF. Kevan successfully concepted and created campaigns across various media platforms, including television, newsprint, online, and social media.

Most recently, Kevan joined Blackiron agency as a Creative Director, responsible for overseeing all creative leaving the agency and managing the senior account team with brand strategy. Kevan also leads the entire creative department and actively participates in client briefs and creating work.

Kevan Kalyan obtained a Diploma in Graphic Design from the London Institute of Tech from the year 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a BBA degree in Economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest from 1998 to 1999. Kevan began their higher education by completing their initial BBA degree in Economics at the Centre for American Education from 1996 to 1997.
