Mitch Jones

Mitch Jones is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading development teams and enhancing developer productivity. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Thumbtack since September 2021, Mitch leads the Developer Experience (DX) team. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Applications at EnergyNet.com, where oversight of software developers and maintenance of the company's public website were key responsibilities. Mitch's career includes significant achievements at Elbit Systems of America, where as a Principal Software Engineer, leadership was demonstrated in managing high-stakes software projects, including a $100 million contract. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Harding University, earned in 2004.
