Robert Lopez

Robert Lopez is currently the Vice President of Global Recruiting at Thumbtack. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources for Customer Service at Chewy from February 2017 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for building and leading the full scope of talent strategy in support of Chewy's mission. Before Chewy, Lopez served as the Head of Business Talent Acquisition at Wayfair from January 2015 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of 26 recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators focused on attracting and hiring top talent on a 1200/year run rate.

Lopez has a passion for building a talent acquisition engine that produces an award winning hiring experience. Robert has been responsible for creating, developing, and executing the recruiting vision and strategies necessary to achieve business goals and support long-range plans across various levels including Co-Op, Undergraduate, MBA, Intern, Experienced and Executive. Robert has also partnered closely with leadership teams to develop and implement workforce plans, forecasting capabilities, and a talent pipeline strategy. In addition to these roles, Lopez has also led a variety of TA-wide initiatives, programs and projects that enable organizations to move from good-to-great.

Their manager is Marco Zappacosta, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Joshua Waldron - VP, Corporate Controller, Krisanna Spotswood - Chief of Staff, and Jeff Grant - COO.
