Xueyao Huang

Xueyao Huang is a Senior Software Engineer at Thumbtack since February 2019, previously holding the role of Software Engineer. Prior experience includes an internship as a Software Engineer at Netease Games, where Xueyao rebuilt a game mall recommender system using Spark and Redis. Xueyao worked as a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University from February 2014 to July 2016, focusing on neuromorphic computing and the development of a neural network hardware based on electronic synapses, in addition to collaborative research on Resistive RAM with Rambus Inc. Xueyao also served as a Teaching Assistant for Microelectronics Processing at Tsinghua University. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
