Janet DeMille

Janet DeMille is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Medical Officer of Health and CEO at Thunder Bay District Health Unit since September 2012. Janet has held various roles within this organization, including Medical Officer of Health and Associate Medical Officer of Health. Prior to this, Janet completed a residency in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Northern Ontario School of Medicine and practiced as a Family Physician in Northwestern Ontario for a decade. Janet's educational background includes a medical degree from Western University, a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Mathematics and Statistics from the University of New Brunswick.
