Rob West

Robert West, CFA, currently serves as CEO and Lead Analyst at Thunder Said Energy, a research consultancy focused on economic opportunities within energy technologies since April 2019. Robert is also a Research Associate at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies since June 2018. Prior experience includes positions as Partner in Oil & Energy at Redburn, Senior Research Associate at Sanford C. Bernstein, and Investment Analyst at Partners Capital LLP. Robert began a leadership role as President of Bacchus, the Oxford University Wine Society, and holds a BA in Psychology with Philosophy from the University of Oxford, where Robert graduated with 1st Class Honours.
