Don Holmquist

Don Holmquist is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in graphic design and marketing. Serving as the Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Islandtwig since June 2019, Don also holds the position of Graphic Designer at Thunder Valley Casino Resort since November 2013, where responsibilities include coordinating marketing collateral and upholding service standards. As Creative Director at Holmquist Design Studio, Don oversees the creative process and stays current with design trends. Previously, Don worked as a Packaging Designer and Marketing Strategist at Cousins Distributing, a Transportation Security Officer for the Department of Homeland Security, and a Graphic Designer at Ultra Creative Group. Early career experience includes a role as a Crew Member at Wendy's International. Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes and multiple graphic communication certificates from Sacramento City College.
