Thunderbird Aviation, a leader in aviation since 1962, is a full service provider of general aviation services, including aircraft charter, FBO services, aircraft maintenance, sales and flight training.  Our facilities are located outside the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St.Paul, Minnesota, at Flying Cloud Airport and Crystal Airport.   

Thunderbird Aviation is an FAA certificated 135 Air Carrier and our flight school is FAA 141 approved.  We operate the largest flight school in Minnesota and recently completed construction on a new Executive Terminal facility at Flying Cloud Airport.

The Flight Operations Team at Thunderbird Aviation, Inc. is responsible for overseeing all aspects of flight training and flight operations. This includes providing instruction and guidance to student pilots, coordinating training schedules, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and proficiency. Building future aviators through comprehensive training programs at their facilities, the team plays a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the quality of flight education.
