Douglas H. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Douglas started their career as a Merchandiser at Canada Dry Distribution Center in 2012 and worked there until 2015. In 2015, they joined Apple as an AppleCare Advisor and stayed there for a year. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Server Desktop Admin at Truckstop.com, where they were responsible for system administration tasks. Douglas then joined Arizona Public Service (APS) as an IT Solutions Engineer/Analyst from 2017 to 2022. At APS, they were a subject matter expert in various technologies like Azure DevOps, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Platform. Douglas'srole involved collaborating, researching, and implementing IT solutions to drive enterprise performance improvements. Currently, Douglas is working at Arizona State University as a Lead Power Platform Developer and Cloud Architect. Douglas was recruited to lead the HICs project, a HIPAA compliant Azure tenant, and is responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying cloud architecture solutions utilizing AWS and Azure.

Douglas H. has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Grand Canyon University, obtained in 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology (IT) from the same university in 2018. Douglas also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from the Community College of Baltimore County, completed in 2014. Additionally, Douglas has obtained certifications such as AWS Solution Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2023, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2022.
