Haniff Naadira

Haniff Naadira is an experienced geologist with a career spanning over two decades in mining and resource geology. Currently serving as the Mining Technical Support Manager at Thungela since June 2021, Naadira previously held the position of Resource Geology Specialist at Anglo American. The career includes significant roles at BHP Billiton Energy Coal South Africa Limited, Anglo Coal CBM Projects, Jonah Mining, and several others, demonstrating expertise in geological modeling, coal resource development, and project evaluation across various geological settings, including coal and gold. Naadira holds an MSc in Environmental Geochemistry and a BSc Honours in Geology/Geochemistry from the University of Cape Town.
