Nico Duvenage

Nico Duvenage is an experienced enterprise application architect currently working at Thungela since May 2022, where responsibilities include utilizing Enterprise Architecture tools to develop a comprehensive meta-model for the organization. Previously, at Nedbank from October 2020 to May 2022, Nico served as Engineering Lead, managing end-to-end project execution for the "Managed Evolution" team in the Retail and Relationship Banking division. With a strong background in integration and financial systems, Nico held key roles at ModusBox as Director of Services and Senior Architect, contributing to international projects and developing a Payment Gateway for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Earlier experience includes roles as Solutions/Integration Architect at Nedbank, Technology and Integration Manager at Deloitte South Africa, and various independent consulting positions in core banking and software development at Standard Bank Group and Rand Merchant Bank. Nico holds multiple degrees in Datametrics, Project Management, and Computer Science, with additional expertise in programming and neural networks.
