Vice President Of Capacity Building at Thurgood Marshall College Fund

Paquita Yarborough, Ed.D., currently serves as the Vice President of Capacity Building and Executive Director at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund since July 2020. Previously, Paquita held key positions at North Carolina Central University from 2008 to August 2018, including Director of Strategic Initiatives & University-School Partnerships and Special Assistant to the Provost, where responsibilities involved improving policies and practices within the Provost’s Office. Paquita's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Special Projects and Communication Initiatives at NCCU Grad Studies and as an Instructor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Saint Augustine's College. Educational credentials include an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Fayetteville State University, a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Bennett College.
