John Baxa

John Baxa is a partner at Thursday, a consultancy focused on insights, innovation, and strategy, where they help organizations build, launch, and grow their businesses. They have a rich background in game design and writing, notably serving as a director and narrative designer at Local Space Survey Corps, LLC, where they won the IGF 2021 Award. John has also held various teaching and research roles, including a game design teaching assistant position at Carnegie Mellon University and multiple roles at Kalamazoo College. They completed a Master of Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon and hold a B.A. in Psychology and Media Studies from Kalamazoo College.
