Alphan Kirayoglu

Alphan Kirayoglu has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Alphan began their career at BlackRock in 2006 as an Analyst. In 2007, they moved to Platinum Grove Asset Management, L.P. where they worked as a Portfolio Management and Trading Analyst. In 2011, they were a Grad Student at UBC studying Econometrics & Experimental Design. In 2014, they joined Flatiron Health as a Data Insights & Engineering Analyst. At Flatiron, they worked to improve the clinical trial experience for patients, providers, and pharmaceutical companies. In 2018, they joined Galileo as an Engineering Team Lead / Acting Head of Engineering. Their role at Galileo was to deliver high quality care at an affordable cost to everyone, including under-served populations and patients with complex health issues. In 2021, they joined Thyme Care as the VP of Data Science.

Alphan Kirayoglu received a BA in Economics and Statistics-Mathematics from Columbia College, Columbia University between 2003 and 2006. In 2011 and 2012, they completed an MA in Economics from The University of British Columbia. Alphan also attended Robert College, though they did not receive a degree.
