Alexandra Livia Georgescu has a long and varied work experience. Alexandra Livia began their career as a Student Volunteer at the Autism Therapy Center Cologne in 2005. Alexandra Livia then became a Diagnostics Intern at the University Hospital of Cologne - Autism Outpatient Clinic in 2006. That same year, they were also a Clinical Intern at the University Hospital of Cologne - Department of Psychiatry, a Research Assistant at the University of Cologne - Department of Social Psychology, a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Predoctoral Researcher, and Research Assistant at the University Hospital of Cologne - Department of Psychiatry - Neuroimaging Group. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UCL. Finally, from 2018 to 2022, they were an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Psychology at King's College London, where they were responsible for Principle Investigator of the Social Interaction Lab, designing and planning research studies, supervising Bsc, MSc, and PhD students, leading and teaching various courses, and providing academic and pastoral care to students.
