Karsten Rick Radtke

Karsten Rick Radtke has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the engineering and technology industries. Karsten Rick began their career at Bundeswehr Karriere, serving as Obergefreiter and earning Leistungsabzeichen der Bundeswehr and a truck driver's license. Karsten Rick then worked at Hoechst AG as an Operating/Resident Engineer. Radtke joined thyssenkrupp in 1993 and held several positions including Global Head of Business Development, Global Head of Strategy, Global Head of BD & Sales, and President & Officer. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the President & CEO of Uhde Corporation of America/thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (USA), Inc. Radtke also had a tenure at UHDE GmbH as Head of Gas Technologies Division and Senior Vice President. In addition, they worked at Molten Metal Technology, Inc. as the Uhde Representative, overseeing the Catalytic Extraction Processing (CEP) of chemical wastes. Karsten Rick Radtke completed their Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering, with majors in New and Renewable Energy Technologies & Environmental Technologies, from Ruhr University Bochum in the years 1987 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained their Abitur from Luisenschule in 1986. Karsten also pursued management training in Business Administration and Controlling for executives at ESMT Berlin, and additional training at IMD.
