Head of Information Technology Operations at TIAX

Stephen DiBenedetto has a solid work experience throughout the years. Stephen started their career in 1982 at Somerville Lumber as a Hardware Salesperson. Stephen then moved on to Lechmere in 1984, where they worked as an Audio Manager and Salesperson until 1994. From 1994 to 1997, Stephen worked at Staples as a Business Machines Sales Manager, responsible for technology sales and inventory management.

In 1997, Stephen joined Arthur D. Little as a Helpdesk Manager and later transitioned to the role of ISSO (Information Systems Security Officer) from 1998 to 2002. Stephen then joined TIAX in 1997 as an IT Manager/IT Specialist, where they supported end users and performed network administration tasks. Stephen also took on additional responsibilities at TIAX as the Head of Information Technology Operations, overseeing the daily IT operations.

Throughout their time at TIAX, Stephen displayed expertise in system administration, including the management of platforms such as Active Directory, RSA SecurID, Office365, IBM SmartCloud, Avaya IP Office Manager, IBM Notes, VMWare, Ivanti, Symantec Endpoint Manager, Symantec Ghost Suite, Acronis, Druva IP Backup, EATEL/Venyu Backup, and TeamViewer. Stephen was involved in tasks ranging from procurement and configuration of equipment to documenting processes and training end users. Stephen also demonstrated their skills as an ISSO/ISSM, implementing, managing, maintaining, and auditing security protocols on PCs and servers to government standards.

Stephen DiBenedetto attended Somerville High School from 1983 to 1985, where they earned their Diploma. In 1988, they enrolled at Bunker Hill Community College and studied Audio Engineering until 1989.
