Erhun Giray Tuncay

Erhun Giray Tuncay is a seasoned researcher and software engineer currently working at Leibniz Information Center for Science & Technology (TIB) where responsibilities include the development of access and curation infrastructures for the NFDI4Ing research community. Prior experience includes serving as a Big Data Expert at the Republic Of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, focusing on data retrieval optimization and machine learning implementation, as well as holding various IT and productivity-related roles in multiple organizations. Tuncay has contributed to research at the Robert Koch Institute and taught as an adjunct instructor at Yaşar University. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Ege University and a Dr. rer. nat. in Bioinformatics from Freie Universität Berlin, supplemented by postgraduate research at Kumamoto University and multiple degrees in engineering fields.
