Natalie Pauly, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Research and Development at TIB Molbiol Syntheselabor GmbH since March 2021, following a tenure as a Team Lead in Research and Development. Prior to this role, Natalie worked at the Bundesinstitut für Risikobewertung from January 2017 to February 2021, where the focus was on investigating carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) during a PhD thesis, alongside projects analyzing pathogens in plant foods and the prevalence of MRSA in poultry products. Career experience also includes positions as a Technical Assistant, intern roles at the Nationales Referenzlabor and Max Delbrück Center, and conducting a Bachelor thesis at DWI - Leibniz-Institut für Interaktive Materialien. Academically, Natalie earned a PhD in Biomedical Science from Freie Universität Berlin, a Master of Science in Molecular Life Sciences from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and a degree in Biology with a focus on Microbiology and Genetics from RWTH Aachen University.
