Dr. Reinhard Wagner

Dr. Reinhard Wagner has held various roles throughout their career. Dr. Reinhard began their work experience as the Chairman of the Executive Committee at GPM German Project Management Association from 2006 to 2015. Dr. Reinhard then worked at ISO International Organization for Standardization, where they served as the Head of Delegates TC 258 and Convenor PC 236/WG 2 from 2011 to 2016, and as the Convenor ISO/TC 258 WG4 Programme Management from 2013 to 2017. In 2009, Dr. Wagner began a nearly 12-year-long tenure at IPMA: International Project Management Association, where they held multiple leadership roles, including Chairman, President, Vice President, and Honorary Fellow. Dr. Reinhard also worked on various projects and initiatives within IPMA. Dr. Wagner has experience in academia as well, serving as an Adjunct Professor for Project Management at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg from 2005 onwards and as an Assistant Professor at Alma Mater Europaea from 2019. In 2017, they became the Managing Director at Tiba Managementberatung, and in 2023, they will be starting as an Extraordinary Associate Professor at Stellenbosch University, Faculty of Science. Additionally, in January 2023, Dr. Wagner will also take on the role of Geschäftsführer at Tiba Transformation Group.

Dr. Reinhard Wagner obtained their Dr. Science degree in Project Management from Alma Mater Europaea from 2017 to 2022. Dr. Reinhard also holds a certification as a Certified Executive Project Management Consultant (GPM) from the GPM German Project Management Association, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Dr. Wagner has received numerous certifications and participated in various workshops and conferences related to project management. Some of these certifications include being a Certified Flow Professional, a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, and a Certified Projects Director from the IPMA: International Project Management Association. Dr. Reinhard also obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
