Kevin McConnell

Kevin McConnell has over 30 years of experience in the field of Supply Chain Management. Theircareer began in 1987 as a Production Planner Intern at McDonnell Douglas. Kevin then worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Texas Instruments and Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In 1992, they joined DSC Communications as a Production Planner, where they were responsible for sales order shipment and logistics/transportation with different trucking vendors for delivery of products domestically and internationally. In 1996, they became Planning Manager/Director of Materials at Advanced Fibre Communications, where they were responsible for both internal/external demand and forecasting requirements, development/maintenance of bills of material (BOM), price negotiation and production master schedule. In 2001, they joined Calix as Director of Production Planning and Inventory, where they planned and scheduled customer orders based on material availability, machine capacity and constraints. Finally, in 2020, they were appointed Director of Order Fulfillment, Planning and Logistics at Tibit Communications, Inc., where they managed Tibit Planning and Order Fulfillment operations, led S&OP process and manufacturing planning, and ensured Order Fulfillment (OF) contract manufacturer executed in fulfillment of Tibit customer orders on time while meeting Tibit specifications.

Kevin McConnell attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. Kevin also earned an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the same university between 1984 and 1986.
