Costa Haritos has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Costa started their career with Ticker News in 2021 as an Executive News Producer, where they delivered live reports, wrote scripts, and produced news bulletins. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Wordly in 2020, where they wrote and edited content for external stakeholders. In the same year, they were a journalist at Southern Highlands Express, writing news content and working on public interest journalism.

In 2019, Costa was a Communications Officer at AFAC News, producing content and fact-checking during the bushfire crisis. Costa also gained experience as an intern at Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), where they researched content and strengthened their skills in broadcast journalism.

Before that, they worked as a Communications Assistant at Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, communicating science research and writing newsletters. Costa also has experience in customer service as a Digital Customer Service Operator for Seven Network's Olympic Games coverage.

Costa started their career in 2016 as a Supervisor at Palace Cinemas, where they liaised with Head Office, prepared reports, and relayed information to their team. Costa also worked as a Front of House staff member. Additionally, they worked as a Casual Tutor at Kumon Australia & New Zealand, educating and mentoring children in English and Mathematics.

Costa Haritos completed a Bachelor of Arts (Professional) degree with majors in Journalism, International Relations, and Politics at Swinburne University of Technology from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their academic pursuits, Costa obtained certifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol from the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation in March 2016 and First Aid Certification from Australia Wide First Aid RTO 31961 in July 2017.
