Tickmill is looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer ready to join a fast-paced, strategic role. Senior Data Analyst main role will be to translate business requirements into innovative and effective solutions to meet both immediate and long-term data analytics needs.

What does the job looks like?
The Senior Data Engineer will have the chance to:
Design and implement data integration solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into Data Lakes or Data Warehouses, leveraging modern cloud-based platforms.
Build robust, well-organized data models to enable effective data analysis and insights.
Develop efficient import procedures for consolidating, storing, and analyzing data from diverse sources across the organization.
Contribute actively to the ongoing design and development of the organization’s data infrastructure.
Translate business requirements into innovative and effective solutions to meet both immediate and long-term data analytics needs.
Monitor and troubleshoot current infrastructure, data pipelines and workflows to ensure data quality and availability
What will you need to be able to do the job?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and a deep understanding of data warehouse design principles.
Ability to understand and navigate business challenges, combined with excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work closely with product management and stakeholders to create impactful visualizations
Expertise in data visualization and dashboard creation using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other similar reporting platforms.
Experience in Financial Markets.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with the Azure cloud ecosystem.
Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data applications
Knowledge of MS Fabric platform
