Kavinda Rasanjana

Kavinda Rasanjana has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Kavinda started their career as a Google Summer of Code Contributor at OpenMRS in 2016. Following this, they interned at Dialog Axiata PLC's Digital Health Private Limited, where they conducted research on industry trends, analyzed cloud technologies, and presented product development strategies. In 2017, they joined Digital Health Private Limited as an Information Technology Support Engineer, where they configured and installed Elasticsearch on cloud platforms, automated cloud deployments, and responded to support tickets.

In 2021, Kavinda joined Revium as a System Administrator, where they managed application configurations and upgrades on MS Azure and AWS, collaborated with security engineers to improve customer satisfaction, and managed server backups. In 2022, they joined Leader as a Cloud Platform Engineer, where they configured and managed the Interworks Cloud Automation platform, conducted API testing, developed automation scripts, and troubleshooted application issues on Azure.

Most recently, in 2023, Kavinda joined Tic:Toc as an Infrastructure Support Analyst.

Kavinda Rasanjana began their education at WP/Jaya Boys Model School in Malabe in 1999 and completed their studies there in 2012. Kavinda then attended SLIIT and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from 2013 to 2017. Kavinda furthered their education at Charles Sturt University from 2019 to 2021, where they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Networking and Network Security.

In addition to their formal education, Kavinda has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certifications. In 2021, they obtained certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Learning the Elastic Stack, Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate, Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate, and cPanel Professional Certification. Kavinda also holds a Certificate in Linux Advanced Administration, earned from WinSYS Networks (pvt) Ltd.
