Awenita H.

Awenita H. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Awenita started their career in 1996 at Southern New England Telephone as a Data Entry employee, where they worked until 2000. In 2001, they joined Delmarva Power as a Customer Service Representative, leaving in 2004. Awenita then transitioned to Progressive Insurance, where they served as an Administrative Assistant from 2005 to 2015. Awenita moved on to Bayhealth in 2015, initially working as an Administrative Assistant before becoming a Policy Administrator and ultimately an Internal Medicine Residency Program Coordinator until 2020. Awenita joined TidalHealth in 2020 as an Internal Medicine Residency Program Coordinator. Awenita later became the Practice Manager for the Hospitalist Group and currently holds the position of Administrative Director of Medical Education since April 2023.

Awenita H. completed their high school education at Ella T Grasso Southeastern Vocational Techn School from 1989 to 1993. Awenita obtained a High School Diploma with a concentration in Culinary Arts/Chef Training during this period. Later, they pursued higher education at Wilmington University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from 2018 to 2023.
