Daan van Ruijven

Daan van Ruijven has a diverse work experience in the field of software development, with a focus on Android development. Daan has worked for multiple companies, starting with JEM-id BV in 2013 as a Placement Software Developer, where they developed a proof of concept for a Reporting tool. After completing their placement, they joined Van der Voort Potplanten in 2008 as an Employee, where they worked until 2016.

In 2016, Daan worked for Uniware Computer Systems B.V. as a Graduate Placement Android Developer, where they developed an Android app to convert desktop software to a mobile environment. Daan continued working for Uniware as an Android Developer, implementing more functionalities for the FloraConnect Scanner app until September 2016.

In 2016, Daan also worked for SimbaPay as an Android Developer and for RedCloud Technologies as a Mid-Level Android Developer. In 2017, they were promoted to Lead Android Developer at RedCloud Technologies, where they worked until November 2019.

Since November 2019, Daan has been working at Tide, initially as an Android Developer and then as a Senior Android Developer. From January 2023, they have been serving as a Staff Mobile Engineer for the company.

Daan van Ruijven pursued their Bachelor's degree in Informatica from 2011 to 2016 at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
