Jamie Lui has a diverse work experience in various technology and software development roles.

Starting in 2009, Jamie worked as a Junior Software Developer at Infoterra, specializing in graphical information systems for the public sector. During this role, they prepared files for presentations to demonstrate the company's products to customers.

In 2012, Jamie joined Syscom PLC as a Junior Support Programmer and later became a Support Consultant. At Syscom, Jamie worked with ERP manufacturing software and used the programming language "Progress 4GL."

Jamie then transitioned to Click Travel Ltd., where they served as a Junior Developer, specializing in corporate travel services.

In 2014, Jamie joined Cloud Sherpas as a Cloud Platform Developer. They worked with various technologies such as NoSQL, Python, JQuery, Javascript, CSS, and HTML. Additionally, they gained experience as a Business Analyst, collecting requirements from client meetings and providing project updates.

At Accenture, Jamie worked as a Business & Technology Integration - Software Implementation Technology Integration Analyst. This role involved responsibilities carried over from their previous position at Cloud Sherpas, following an acquisition.

In 2016, Jamie joined notonthehighstreet.com as a Java Developer, working with 3rd party payment providers in a microservices environment.

In 2017, Jamie joined News UK as a Software Engineer, working with MVC Java microservices and integrating KONG Gateway into the infrastructure. They later got promoted to Senior Software Engineer and took over leading the team and facilitating AGILE meetings when required.

Currently, Jamie is employed at Tide as an Advanced Senior Java Engineer. They hold the Tech Owner role, prioritizing sprints, tech debt, and product debt. They have been instrumental in reducing queries and problems related to old products while building new products and improving existing ones in the Credit Domain.

Jamie Lui attended Brookfield Community School from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Information Technology and obtained their A-Level. Subsequently, they attended Northumbria University from 2007 to 2011, earning a BSc in Computer Science.
