Melissa Myotte-Carter

Melissa Myotte-Carter, MBA, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience in the field of compensation and human resources. Melissa began their career at Cafe Carolina & Bakery as a Key Hourly Supervisor, where they demonstrated their organizational and managerial skills. After that, Melissa worked at Horry Georgetown Technical College, where they held various roles such as Classification-Compensation and Employee Relations Manager, Temporary Employment and Employee Benefits Specialist, and Employee Leave Specialist. In these roles, they managed tasks related to compensation, employee relations, and HR processes. Melissa then transitioned to Coastal Carolina University as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor, where they contributed their expertise in teaching. Currently, Melissa is working at Tidelands Health as Director of Compensation, where they provide leadership and expertise in the administration of employee and leadership compensation programs. It is evident that Melissa has a strong background in compensation, benefits, HRIS, and employee relations, with a focus on ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and fiscal responsibility.

Melissa Myotte-Carter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Coastal Carolina University. Melissa also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Melissa has additional certifications including being a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) obtained in November 2015 and being a Notary Public obtained from The State of South Carolina, Office of Secretary of State in May 2013. Furthermore, Melissa has a high school diploma from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
