Donald Fischer

Co-founder, CEO at Tidelift

Donald Fischer is the co-founder and CEO of Tidelift. Donald has also served on the boards of Julia Computing, Inc., the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sandbox Innovation Fund, Anaconda, Inc., Rocana, and Typesafe (now Lightbend). Prior to Tidelift, Donald was a venture partner at General Catalyst Partners and a principal at Greylock Partners.

Donald has a long history of working in the software industry. Donald began their career as a software engineer, before moving into product management and then venture capital. In each role, Donald has been focused on building great software companies. Donald is passionate about open source software and believes that it can be a powerful force for good in the world.

Donald is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Donald Fischer's educational career began with a BS from Yale University in Computer Science and Economics. Donald then went on to earn their MBA from Columbia Business School. Finally, they completed their MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
