Luis Villa

Luis Villa is the co-founder of Tidelift. Luis has a background in law and technology, having worked as a lawyer for Greenberg Traurig, LLP and as the Sr. Director of Community Engagement for the Wikimedia Foundation. In their current role at Tidelift, they advise clients on technology, licensing, and community strategy.

Luis Villa attended Columbia Law School, where they earned their JD. Prior to that, they studied political science at Duke University, where they earned their BA.

Luis Villa reports to Donald Fischer, Co-founder, CEO. They work with Havoc Pennington - Co-founder, Jeremy Katz - Co-founder.
