Ira Daniel

Ira Daniel is an experienced accounting professional with a focus on philanthropy and nonprofit sectors. As the Fiscally Sponsored Projects Accounting Manager at Tides since 2022, Ira actively supports social change initiatives while promoting Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) values. Ira also operates ID Tax Service, providing tax preparation and advisory services since 2010. Previous roles include Assistant Controller for the Board of Trustees of Glide Foundation and Senior Accountant for the US Government, where significant financial oversight and revenue management were critical. Ira holds an M.A. in Economics from Morgan State University and a B.S. in Accounting from Delaware State University.
