Tanya Sattar

Tanya Sattar is a seasoned professional in grantmaking and climate initiatives, currently serving as the Grantmaking Manager for Social Ventures at Tides since August 2022. With extensive experience in environmental sustainability and social impact, Tanya has worked with the U.S. Department of State as a Climate Delegate and contributed to global climate initiatives at Bloomberg Philanthropies. Prior roles include focusing on infrastructure and national policy engagement at Bloomberg, managing campaign logistics for Yang2020, and a graduate internship at Value For Women Ltd. Tanya's foundational experience in finance includes positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNY Mellon, and State Street. Tanya holds a Master of Arts in Human Rights, Economics, and Development Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
