Lia Angeli

Lia Angeli currently serves as the Director of Communications and Access Services at The Learning Center for the Deaf since November 2022. Additionally, Lia is a Business Owner at Hands Up Rentals and Hands Up LLC, roles held since March 2021 and August 2007, respectively. Lia has extensive experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, active in positions at Old Dominion University, Sorenson Communications, and Tidewater Community College since 2009 and 2007, respectively. Lia also worked as an Interpreter/Project Manager for the Internal Revenue Service from March 2021 to June 2022 and provided services at the College of the Albemarle from 2008 to 2011. Education includes a background from Strome College of Business.
